Stitching Sisters will be having two (2) sew days to focus on making Quilt of Valor (QOV) on October 26^th and November 2^nd. Starting at 9:30 AM. The sewing event will take place at the Francis Performing Art Center in New Martinsville, by the Libray at the corner of Maple Ave and Washington St.

Our goal is to get several tops done before Veterans Day, November 11^th. (Tops only, quilting will be done later). Our deadline is November 10^th so we can display them during our Guild meeting on November 11^th.

This is a great opportunity to honor our veterans. Attached is a copy of the pattern. This is a quilt that will look great either scrappy or traditional. You can also find this online by searching Waves of Liberty and Stripes Quilt Pattern.

If you are interested, but not sure if you have time to finish before November 10th, you can help in many other ways.
